Steel Pail Bottom

This steel pail bottom fits all steel pails of different volumes with a bottom outside diameter of approximately 275mm, like 10L/18L/25L/5gallon pails.

As shown in the example image above, C=Bottom outside diameter.

Top diameter approximately 290mm

Taper top diameter approximately 271mm

Material: black plate, tinplate,Al-Zn steel plate

The black plate here means the low carbon, cold-rolled steel. It is the basic steel of tinplate and Al-Zn steel plate and once used as the material of pails directly, it should be coated or laminated as the material of steel pail bottom while the other two can be plain or coated or laminated according to your requirement.

Tinplate bottom refers to the metal base of a can or container that is made from tin-coated steel. Tinplate is a popular material for can bottoms because it provides strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion. The tin coating on the steel also prevents contact between the contents of the can and the steel, which can affect the taste or quality of the product. Tinplate bottoms are commonly used in the food and beverage industry for packaging canned goods such as fruits, vegetables, meats, and drinks. It can be also used in the paint or chemical industry.

Al-Zn steel plate is a metal material with good corrosion resistance, also with black plate as the base material. Steel pail bottom made of it can be used as industrial grade metal package.

GLUE INJECTION: glue can be chosen according to your usage, or no glue bottom can also be available.

Glue can be used to increase the sealing performance of the bottom of the pail. As shown in the diagram, the red glue in the right picture is a common type of glue, while the glue in the left picture has better corrosion resistance and a wider range of applications. For some customers whose products are highly acidic or alkaline, stronger glue than the one in the left picture should be chosen that has stronger acid and alkali resistance.
