This pail can be used with a lug cover or lever lock ring cover. For the lever lock ring cover, the ring and the cover are two separate parts which together close the open head pail.

1. This product is a kind of 6 gallon metal bucket with a lid and steel bale handle designed to be well suited for industrial mass production packaging applications. It is an open head pail.

2. The two beads on the upper part of the pail play the role of reinforcing the pail wall.

According to clients' requirements for the appearance of the pail, we can reduce the bead to one, and the height from the top of the pail to the bead can also be made according to the requirement. We can also add another one or two beads in the lower half of the pail. The number of beads can affect the choice of steel plate thickness. For example, if there are many beads, the pail wall can be thinner without reducing the strength of the pail, which can save production costs.

However, too many beads will affect the aesthetics of the pail as packaging and will reduce the number of open head pails to be transported and increase the freight cost because this open head pail is tapered, the upper diameter is larger than the lower diameter, so can be nested one by one while the lowest bead determines the height we can nest the pails.

Generally speaking, tapered open head pails only have one or two beads on the upper part, and tight head pails(as shown on the right) can have beads on the lower part of the pail wall because no matter with or without those beads, the tight head pail can only be stacked. Of course, the quantity of the beads can be adjusted according to the actual needs of the customers.
