Handle

We can see from the above pictures that there are many different kinds of handles for tight head pails, plastic ones, steel ones with plastic grips, and also wire handles. For an open head pail, a steel wire handle is the common one to be used.

About beads

Usually, an open steel pail has one or two beads on the upper part of the pail wall, while for a tight head pail,  besides the upper part of the pail wall, one or two more beads can be added to the lower part of the pail wall to increase the strength of the pail.
