International Steel Market Information: Turkish Steel Mills Will Resume Production One After Another

Information about metal packages, metal buckets

Steel prices in Turkey are basically stable and steel mills will resume production one after another.
Turkish long steel and wire rod prices have remained largely stable following the earthquake in the southeast of the country. It is understood that the current export price of Turkish rebar is 700-720 US dollars/ton CFR, and the price of wire rods remains at 725 US dollars/ton CFR, and the transaction is still slow. Currently, the Turkish government requires domestic producers to deliver 4 million tons of rebar within three to four months and plans to start rebuilding the earthquake-stricken areas as soon as possible, so the country's steel demand will increase. But with low inventory levels in the market, billet and scrap prices are likely to rise further in the coming days.
