Metal Bucket Raw Material Information: European Hot Coil Market Is in A Stable Stage

European hot coil prices have remained stable in the past week. Currently, downstream suppliers and steel mills are in the stage of negotiating contracts for 2025. Downstream suppliers hope to get at least 100 euros/ton discounts in the 2025 contracts, but steel mills believe that 50 euros/ton is acceptable. Therefore, the steel mills have not confirmed the order because the contract is still in negotiation. The current local hot coil price in northern Europe is 600 to 620 euros/ton (630-655 US dollars/ton).
