The European local steel prices continue to slightly decline while the Asian import resources offer different prices. ANSELMETAL, a leading company in European local hot coil prices, has been showing a downward trend recently since it lowered its coil prices by 100 euros per ton two weeks ago. Currently, the company has reduced its coil prices by about 75 US dollars per ton in various parts of Europe. However, despite the significant price reduction, the market trading heat has not increased. The current price of the company's September hot coil delivery is 700 euros per ton EXW, and the cold coil price is 800 euros per ton EXW, while the hot galvanized price is 830 euros per ton EXW. According to reports, an Italian steel plant's September delivery of cold coils is priced at 830 euros per ton EXW, and the hot-dip galvanizing delivery price in September is 840 euros per ton EXW or about 900 US dollars per ton. Week on week, the prices of both cold coils and hot-dip galvanizing have decreased by about 30 euros per ton. Therefore, there are not many traders engaged in stocking activities. In the Asian market, the delivery period for August shipments arrives in October, and the price of cold coils is around 760 US dollars per ton CFR. The price of 0.5mmZ100 hot-dip galvanizing from Vietnam is 858 US dollars per ton CFR, also for shipment in August.
